1. Researching Your Revolutionary War Ancestors
Methods to find your patriot soldiers, including an effective technique for using the DAR online database.
2. Researching Your Civil War Ancestors
A look at the two kinds of records to find Union and Confederate soldiers. Also covered are pensions, medical records, and prisoner of war records. Plus, reasons for not serving.
3. Researching Your World War I Ancestors
See samples of the kinds of records you can find about ancestors who served in World War I. Adapt similar research techniques to your World War II ancestors.

Maureen Taylor, internationally known expert on historic photography identification and preservation, shares two presentations to help you solve your photo mysteries:
1. Who's Little Joe: Photo Detecting 101
Discover who’s who in your family pictures. You will learn 8 clues for naming those unidentified pictures tucked away in shoe boxes.
2. 20th Century Pictures
Your snapshots are full of clues about your family IF you know how to read the evidence. Maureen shares case studies that show you how to uncover details in family photos and tell their story even if you know who’s who.
Plus! 1839 marked the advent of photography. Maureen will help you find pictures of your Revolutionary War ancestors, part of the first photographed generation.
The webinar will be held live over two Saturdays, October 9 and 16 (times to be determined) via Zoom Webinar. Paid registrants will receive an invitation to the webinar with a personal link to join. The link cannot be shared. Attendees can view the webinar on a computer (PC or Mac), laptop, tablet or smartphone.
