Finding the Roots of Your Family Legends
Just because Great Aunt Mabel said your ancestor was from Scotland, doesn't mean he was. Learn how to uncover the truth behind family legends and stories, and how to integrate them into your personal writing and research.
Putting It Together: A Case Study
Follow a family from early 1800s to the early 1900s as they migrated across America. Watch as records from the home (family Bibles and letters) are combined with newspapers and other public records to compile the family. Apply the lessons learned to your own research.
Attendees who register for both Saturday sessions will receive a reduced rate for the full webinar. We highly recommend this as the topics have been planned to give attendees a complete program. However, you can register for one session (either Saturday) at the single day fee listed below. Please note, to receive the discount for the full two-day webinar, you must sign up for it at the time you register. If you register for a single session and decide later to register for the other session, we will be unable to give you the webinar discount. Also, if you register for the full webinar and later decide to attend a single session only, we will be unable to refund the money for the difference.
CCCGS Member Fee - $35 for both Saturday sessions/$20 for a single Saturday session (Note: you must be logged onto the CCCGS site to receive the Members Only discount)
Non-member Fee - $45 for both Saturday sessions/$25 for a single Saturday session
